Oh, I just love these. Everytime I find a new one I am shocked again. This is my favorite so far. It is "a supercomputer simulation of the microcircuitry found within a column from the neocortex of the rat brain."

Studio 360 for week of May 4

I love PRI's Studio 360 and listen to the podcast weekly. From May 4, there was a section of the program devoted to creativity and the brain. A neuroscience perspective is the focus. You can check it out here. The title is "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain."

For the record, I think I'm both brained.
