Just started this painting tonight. It's the most cheerful painting I've done. It's also the first I've done in about a year. Winter vacation in California sure was nice.
I am loving that! The person in the corner is so great (how much of her is showing, how active she looks even though she appears to just be standing) and of course, the water is excellent! Happy California!
The most "cheerful" eh? That's interesting - it has deep ocean colors, like the subconscious. It comes across more mysterious for me. I like it a lot though. Is the body a cut out and glued to the paper?
